If you haven’t been paying attention…Reformation has quickly become a TME team favorite. Women-owned, mindful of their impact on the planet (they made our Sustainability shortlist with flying colors), and many of their styles are available in plus sizes. Personally, Reformation is basically all I want to wear right now. Their denim is great, I’ve been living in this sweater all week, their tops are so flirty and fun, but the one area where Reformation really shines is their dresses.
I’ve yet to take a trip somewhere without packing at least one Reformation dress, and since their new fall line has started to drop…we thought we’d round up our favorites right now.
TME Why: I have this one in white — so freaking flattering (and gives me allllll the Juliet vibes). Also available in plus sizes.
Style Notes: It’s linen, and in white, if feels decidedly summer. But black linen…I think this one could easily be worn throughout the fall (especially if you live in warmer climates). Linen, BTW, uses much less water to produce, making this a really sustainable option.
TME Why: Another Juliet dress…but long and floral. The sleeves are what get me. Perfection.
Style Notes: I’d wear this one now with white sneakers for day, heels for night. But once the weather cools, a tall (or even OTK) boot would be amazing. You could further warm this one up with a cozy sweater layered over top, too. (Or a cardigan. Especially with the sleeves pushed up a bit to show the pretty floral sleeves underneath.)
TME Why: The perfect color for fall, and this knit is super-flattering. In fact, this might be my favorite Reformation fabric. I have a dress (from last year) and a skirt made from the same ribbed knit, and can attest to its comfort. So soft!
I’d Wear This With: Ankle boots and a leather jacket.
TME Why: This is basically the dress version of my favorite ribbed knit skirt. Also available in plus sizes!!
TME Why: Remember the naked dress from Sex and the City? It’s like that…but a soft, comfy, everyday one.
Style Notes: Layer more shades of camel for a monochromatic look…or just add sneakers and a denim jacket. This one is going to be a stunner no matter what you have on your feet.
TME Why: Slightly off the shoulder and the leg-slit.. LOVE. This one is made from 90% eco-friendly Tencel, which is soft and stretchy and super-comfy to wear (in addition to being one of the most sustainable options).
Style Notes: Also available in black if the red is too daring. Both available in plus sizes, too.
TME Why: It’s all about the sleeves and leg-slit. (Ooo…a similar dress that keeps selling out just came back into stock: CHECK IT.)
Style Notes: Dying to pair either of these flirty, feminine numbers with a leather jacket and booties. DYING.
TME Why: Basically the plus-size version of the black floral dress above.
Style Notes: Just like the dress above, I’m dying to see this one paired with a leather jacket and booties. I adore the flirty, feminine, tough-girl vibes.
TME Why: This is the most similar to the little ribbed knit dress I picked up last year. It’s shockingly versatile (and comfortable).
Style Notes: To warm it up for fall, this dress would be genius with OTK boots and a turtleneck. Finish off the look with a wool topper. Tan tall boots and black tights would also work here. I’d pair that combo with a white tee layered under this dress.
TME Why: DYING over this one! So freaking sexy, and available in a ton of colors. There’s not a plus-size dress, but there is a plus-size skirt option that is insanely sexy.
Style Notes: Pop on a turtleneck and tights for the cold days, or layer an oversized sweater over top and add sneakers.
