If you could go through my closet you would find a lot of adidas apparel. And I mean a lot of adidas apparel. They are one of my absolute favorite brands — I love the fit of their clothing, the shoes are comfortable and some of my favorite for workouts, plus they team up with people like Pharrell, who let’s just be blunt here — makes me swoon (my husband is fully aware of this). I could make a capsule wardrobe featuring adidas pieces only. Even my baby wears adidas.

Lounge Shorts, Classic Sneaks & Baby Sweatsuits: Laid-back In adidas

So when I was given the opportunity to peruse their latest trends, I felt like a little kid in a candy shop. For real, for real. Right now they are all about laidback luxury and nostalgic cuts — think ’90s-inspired materials, crewnecks that have an oversized lived-in feel to them, and classic sneakers. If you saw me right now even just typing this, I’m a little weak in the knees. The laidback luxury vibes of their latest trends are SO cozy that you really just want to kick your feet up and lounge around. Which, to be honest, is exactly what I’ve been doing.

Most days you can find me right here — literally lounging around on the floor with my sweet babe. He recently found his voice (and his little tongue), so baby coos and mouth clicks are the ongoing amusement around here!

To clarify, this baby onesie is sadly no longer available; it was the first thing gifted to us after we announced we were pregnant (from my in-laws because, yes, they fully understand and support my adidas habit, too). You better believe we have new outfits in his lineup though — this sweatsuit set is next on deck for all of our lounging days!

The loungewear shorts are made with a knit velour material — suuuuper cozy soft and feature a high-rise cut (my favorite)!

Sneakers (I’m wearing ‘Cloud White’) | Socks

These classic sneakers are so comfortable, I even wore them around the house all day yesterday with no socks (mostly by accident, but then it was so comfortable I just continued on…). I personally recommend sizing down with adidas shoes — I’m normally a 10 but wear a 9 in both their classic sneakers and workout shoes.

THIS LOUNGEWEAR SWEATSHIRT, though!!!! It has that lived-in comfort feeling, the one you want when you reach for your dad’s or husband’s old favorite sweatshirt. It’s oversized, soft and fits like a dream. This is easily becoming one of my most-worn items in my closet right now. I can’t shout its goodness loud enough.

I also grabbed a pair of their high-rise 7/8 Training Tights — which, naturally, you would think I would, like, workout in them considering their name — buuut more lounging is what has been taking place while wearing these. They fit incredibly well. The waistband holds me together in all the right ways, plus I don’t have to hike them back up ONCE even when wearing from morning to night. That’s how you know good leggings apart from bad ones.
