I love eBay because it’s like a shopping playground–a great place to dig for hidden treasures for much less than anywhere else. You can find exactly what you’re looking for, typically at a fraction of the price. eBay’s “Buy it Now” feature is a really low-stress way of searching for exactly what I want. I’ve definitely found some of my “forever pieces” just from a simple browse.
You can search by new (or new with tags/new in box) or pre-owned, depending on your preferences. For some things, like a designer handbag, I would choose whichever got me the best price. For others (like shoes, given my weird pronation issue), I’d want them new. It’s easy to toggle the options back and forth for exactly what you want. eBay also offers 30-day returns on just about everything, so you don’t have to feel like you’re stuck with anything you don’t want.
Forever Fashion & More On eBay: Designer Jeans, Shoes & Supporting Small Businesses
Another reason you should consider buying from eBay — especially now in this crazy-tumultuous time? Because it’s an easy way to support small businesses like Miranda Bennett Studio who makes “exceptional, plant-dyed apparel in the US with an all-woman supply chain.” Or Sapo de Solis, who handcrafts all-natural, plant-based oil soaps, lotions, scrubs and home cleaning products with simple natural ingredients. This is a great place to start, or you can learn more about sellers on eBay here.
Jeans
1. AG Ex-Boyfriend Slim Jeans
I love the slight slouchiness of these jeans and the worn-in vibe. I searched for them by filtering down to my size and found a ton of different wash options.

2. AG Prima Ankle Skinny Jeans
These jeans are my favorite because I have no other skinny jeans that fit straight at the ankle. I was able to find these in a number of different colors and styles, too.

Bags
3. Rebecca Minkoff Julian Backpack
I love this bag. We all love this bag. And it comes in a ridiculous number of colors, with or without fringe, in nylon or leather…pretty much any combination of the Julian backpack can be found on eBay.

Shoes & Boots On eBay
4. Stuart Weitzman Boots
Don’t want to spend almost $800 on a pair of boots? Me neither. There are lots of options of Weitzman boots on eBay, for literally hundreds less than buying them elsewhere.

5. Golden Goose Sneakers
I’m obsessed with my Golden Goose sneakers and found a TON of different styles on eBay. If you’re having trouble tracking down a certain color or pattern, eBay is the place to look.

And The Perfect Tool For Quarantine Life!
6. Dyson Vacuum
We had NO IDEA how much we needed one of these. From the second we took it out of the box, we were addicted. I mean, with a toddler and a 5-year-old, our house is pretty much always a mess. This thing is SO easy, our house had never been cleaner. Unfortunately, it never worked on the MAX setting (the crazy powerful suck-everything-up-in-its-path setting). I was worried we were going to be stuck with a broken machine, but I made one phone call and was immediately approved for an exchange. Super easy. The hardest part is having to live without it between sending it back and waiting for the new one. (Brooms just don’t cut it after this thing.)
