As a millennial, I’m a die-hard skinny jeans girl. But I had to wonder: Do flare, straight-leg, stovepipe & skate styles work for my midsize body type? After trying a number of jeans from Levi’s, Madewell & Good American, I took to The Mom Edit’s Youtube channel to review my top five.
Well, curvy midsize girls, rejoice — I’m trying on all the jeans for us with success! In my hunt for cute bootcut, wide-leg and baggy jeans, I’ve narrowed it down to five that are worth trying if you’re on the curvier side.
5 Jeans My Curvy, Midsize Booty Loves, Ft. Levi’s, Madewell + Good American
It’s hard to choose just one favorite, but out of all the jeans I tried, this pair from Good American is SUCH a pleasant surprise (and nothing like the usual style I go for). Major nostalgic ‘90s vibes, and I’m not mad about it.
For reference, I’m 5’5″, a size 14 in bottoms, and typically a 31 or 32 in jeans, depending on the brand and style.
