I honestly started this post by just picking my ten favorite tops at Nordstrom right now. Then I realized I ordered nothing in color. True to form and right on brand, Laura. Nice.

One sweater below is in a tan/mustard shade, but that is as crazy as it gets here folks! Everything else? Black, white and gray. I don’t think any of us are surprised. I tried to venture out into colorful Fair Isle recently, but you know which one I love best? The black and white one from Gap, haha.

Warm & Neutral: 10 Cute Sweaters At Nordstrom

This is the time of year I typically run out of words, y’all. They just don’t arrive from my brain to my fingertips this late in the game. BUT there are still tons of cute & cozy things out there you need to know about, so I’ll make this short and sweet. Nordstrom is one of our favorite, easy places to get great stuff and as usual; they have some especially cute finds right now when it comes to sweaters and tops. I mean, that’s what’s important in these Zoom days of December anyway, right?

Let’s check ’em out. (Since many pieces are selling out everywhere, even Nordstrom, I have included links to other sites for a few of these, in hopes of finding more sizes and options for ya! Also, if you’re looking to earn more Nordstrom reward points, it’s nice to keep in mind that we have until the end of the month to do so before the next anniversary sale.)

1. Star Sweater

This is currently my favorite sweater I own. It’s thick and lovely and so cute, and the perfect length and, well, AllSaints sweaters, in general, are some of my favs. This fits true to size, and I can’t recommend it enough. I love the swing/boxy shape and the hi/low hem. This is low in stock at Nordstrom now, but can be found on sale at AllSaints!

2. Orsa Boxy Turtleneck

I’m smiling here because I was listening to the hilarious podcast Smartless with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes. Omg. It’s my current fav. Also, this sweater is boxy goodness, has a lovely drape and the coolest neck. It’s good.

3. Striped Sweater

Super-cute, this one! Soft and adorable in black and blush stripes. It runs small in the shoulders though, so I tried a M, which fit much better. Pictured is the Small.

4. Alpine Crop Mock Neck

This is thick and cozy. I love the crop of this for balancing out the heaviness, and the pattern is just lovely. It comes in a couple of other colors, too! I sized down since Free People sweaters and tops seem to always be oversized. Available at Nordstrom, but on sale right now at Macy’s!

5. Oversized Tie Dyed Long Sleeve Tee

I’ve been looking at this top for weeks and was excited to try it. I don’t think I need more tie-dye in my life (let’s be honest) but I love the neutral colors of this one. Super-soft cotton and a cute fit, but maybe not the most flattering neckline on me. I think if I go mock neck, it needs to be wider or be sleeveless. Sized down here, too. Comes in some pretty colors, if that’s your thing. Heh.

6. Cowl Neck Cocoon Pullover

I’ve wanted to try this popular top forever! I don’t know if I’m a little bit over the cowl neck thing (I think I am) but I’ll admit this is super flattering! I love the long sleeves and this color, especially with my faded black Levi’s. I think I’ll revisit this in spring or keep an eye out for it on sale. It is a cute option! It comes in more colors at Nordstrom here.

7. Topshop Brushed Crop Sweater

Ah, Topshop. We love ya, but you sell out fast. It’s still available in a different color. Love this sweater. It’s stretchy and pretty soft for not being cashmere, and a super-cute fit. True to size.

So cute! I wound up keeping this one. Love the retro vibe, the balloon sleeves, and it’s just something different…and reasonable at $59!

9. PAIGE Raundi Cutout Sweater

Well, I was ogling this online, and Scotti said she had it in another color and loves it. I was looking for something off-the-shoulder, not typically my vibe, to show off my recently added-to tattoo. Haha FAIL because in order to get it on my right shoulder I have to wear it backwards. Not a total loss, but I just don’t think it’s ‘me’ anyway. It’s a BEAUTIFUL sweater and if it IS your vibe, I can highly recommend. LOVE the cuffs. True to size. Really warm without being thick and heavy.

10. Halogen x Atlantic Pacific Cabled Sweater

My one and only color option here. This is the cutest sweater, but it just didn’t flatter me in the upper area…too much neck + cabling? I’m not sure. If you have a longer neck, longer hair or narrow shoulders, this is SO cute and probably more for you.
