Gah!!! I’ve been working on a monster post of all the shoes I’ve tried this season (complete with my mini-reviews of each one), but it’s a work in progress, and some of you know my “works in progress” take me a bit of time to complete. Several of the shoes I’ve tried, though, are on SALE for Black Friday, so I’m putting out a quick preview of a handful (just in case they sell out before my big post). As I’m combing through the sales this week, I’m finding TONS of other good comfort shoes on sale as well, so keep scrolling to the end if you’re in the mood to shop… and are into things that are comfortable, cute and on sale.
Black Friday Sales –The Best Comfortable (& Stylish) Shoes I’ve Tried
Kork Ease Kenai Bootie – 40% Off!
Pros: These are REALLY comfortable and the studded detailing is a fun stylish addition. I like the brown a lot, but the gray and black colors are also REALLY good. A great everyday bootie from a well-known comfort brand that’s VERY good at making feet happy. Bonus: 40% off is a ridiculously good deal for a great comfort brand bootie!
Cons: Dang! Can’t think of one! Especially now that they’re on sale.
Dr. Scholl’s Slouch Boots – 29% Off
Pros: Super comfortable. Soft material and feels great on my foot. Love that some of the comfort brands are getting on board with slouchy boot styling.
Cons: Wish these came in more colors. I like this light tan, but would have preferred a richer brown. My fav high boots ended up being these Gentle Souls. You can tell that the Dr. Scholl’s aren’t as high-quality material as some of the higher-end brands, but then again….it’s nice that they’re not $600 AND they’re really comfortable.
*Thank you Dr. Scholl’s, for sending over these fun boots for me to try. Always happy to take new shoes out for a spin–especially when they come from great comfort brands who also have an eye for style.
Naturalizer Spotted Heels – 30% Off
Pros: So fun! Love that these are an interesting cool print, but in neutral colors, so they’re easy to pair with lots of colors or other prints. Supportive and comfortable (for a heel). And did I say that I love the print? Because I really do love the print.
Cons: I’m not a huge fan of pointy toe shoes (my feet aren’t usually very happy in them), but these are more comfortable than most pointy toes I’ve tried. I did size up to give my toes a bit more wiggle room. I don’t think I could walk in these all day, but I definitely could wear them for date night or a day in the office. And remember…I have very picky feet.
Naturalizer Red Heels – 55% Off
Pros: Comfortable and a great classic style–these come in several colors.
Cons: The color is not quite perfect. It’s a tiny bit too bright or too orange or too “something”. They border a little too close to neon. I like the color of the Everlane ones better that I’ve borrowed from time to time from Shana, but these are on super sale and they’re good enough…at least for me until I splurge on the Everlanes.
More Comfy, Stylish Shoes (from last year) On Sale!
Pros: Anyone that has read pretty much ANY of my posts knows that I’m a Dansko enthusiast. My feet LOVE Danskos. I’ve had these for a while now and they’re still in my daily rotation. Comfortable, supportive, and totally stylish enough for most occasions.
Cons: The biggest con is that these are hardly discounted. I didn’t include the discount above in the large print heading because the “3% off” looked absolutely ridiculous. I’m hoping the sale percentage increases, but every bit counts, right? And this is probably just an excuse for me to talk about my fav Danskos. Another con: It pains me to say it, but not everyone’s feet love Danskos as much as mine do. For some folks, they just don’t work. I do think Dansko could update the heel a bit for a more No. 6 style look, but other than that…in my opinion, these are gold. On a related note: I’m totally stalking these shearling-lined Danskos, but they’re selling out fast (more sizes here and here)…with the fast sell-outs, I doubt they’ll go to sale any time soon.
Sorel Wedges – 40% Off
Pros: These are a TME favorite. Super practical in all sorts of weather, comfortable and cute. I made fun of Shana for wearing “high heels” in the rain for quite some time, then totally took it back once I tried these. The camel and burro colors are currently on sale. More colors on sale on Sorel’s site, but limited sizing.
Cons: Size up if you’re between sizes, they were a little snug on me. Only on sale in certain colors.
