I kept trying to wear my bikinis to the pool last summer, because well…I love a cute bikini! Even when my abs aren’t toned and my bum is a bit on the droopy side, I prefer a two-piece swimsuit. I just feel more free and easy in them…maybe even a bit younger, too. However, every time I’d wear one, there was an inevitable nip slip or bum crack incident. Every single time.
Apparently, little kids, pools, and minimal amounts of fabric on my mom bod do not mix well. So, I had to kick the bikinis to the curb, or at least…save them for other occasions when I won’t have a child climbing on me or giving me constant heart attacks near bodies of water. (Hmm…I am beginning to realize that it may be a while.)
5 Summersalt Bathing Suits Worth Trying This Summer
If you’re like me and prefer to be able to jump in the water, throw kids into the air, save a child or two from drowning while at the pool…and not have to worry about random “whoopsies!”, you may also really appreciate Summersalt swimsuits. I feel cute wearing them, the bum coverage is spot-on (meaning, it covers the bits…and they have different levels of coverage, too) andandand they have pretty two pieces! Oh — and one more thing…Summersalt bathing suits are sustainable! YASSS…
It only took one suit to persuade me, so…see what you think.
1. The Sidestroke
This is the suit that sold me. I have actually had it since last summer! I was hesitant to click ‘purchase’, but I have not once regretted it since doing so…because it’s a magical, unicorn swim suit. I can’t even count on my fingers how many times someone asked me about it when I was at the pool with the kiddos. I’ve gotten compliments every time I wear it! Bum Coverage: C, fullest coverage

2. The Swan Dive
This top fits like a bralette, so no built-in cups. It held in all of my A cup (ha) very nicely. The back is pretty, too, with the tie…which also makes it possible for you to adjust the straps. Bum Coverage: B, so a little cheeky

3. The Deep Dive
This swimsuit is sexy. I even have one wonky boob (nursing), and I still really love the look of the deep plunge in the front. The criss-cross in the back is a bit sporty, which is a cool mix with the front, I think! Bum Coverage: full, although I felt like it was a bit cheeky on me. I do have a bit of a bubble bum, though.

4. The Voyager Bikini Top + Classic High Rise
This suit is just so cute. The top stays in place and the bottoms are FULL-ON coverage. Also, they’re a higher waist, which helps to suck in a bit of that snacking I’ve been doing a bit too much of the past few months (or is it just enough? Yeh, I think so). It comes in a few other colors and patterns, btw!

5. The Oasis
This bathing suit immediately made me think 1940s fashion, which I am a massive fan of. So, yes. This one, especially in the blue, is really perfect. The thin belt accentuates the waist, the straps are adjustable and the bum coverage comes in at a C (full coverage).

I got the Voyager/Mod bikini in pink and orange last year and love it. First time I’ve worn a bikini in at least 20 years. I tried a bunch of styles and the Sidestroke was a tiny bit too short for my long-torso. The Swan Dive was too wide in the chest for me (I have teeny ribs) but I loved trying so many styles. Quality is awesome and I had compliments all last summer. Great post
Thanks, Kari! Have you tried their long torso fit? I haven’t, but have been wondering how it works for some…
