Voloshin’s new fall line dropped recently, so obviously we had to check it out. It’s a tough job (etc., etc.,), but your friendly neighborhood Mom Editors are HERE FOR IT.
If you’re new here, allow me to catch you up real quick: Voloshin is the line of Philadelphia-based designer Amy Voloshin, who started out by designing prints and clothing for Urban Outfitters and Free People before launching her own line. With a focus on sustainability, her line is designed her in Philly, and handmade in India (typically on organic fibers).
We’ve had a longstanding love affair with the Voloshin line, primarily because Amy always manages to turn out really unique, fresh, show-stopping pieces. I’m talking the kinds of pieces you really can’t find anywhere else. The kinds of pieces….like this dress.

Swingy Tiered Corduroy Dress For Day…
The whole line is gorgeous, but this dress was a fav of both Linz and I. We don’t *always* see eye-to-eye when it comes to dresses (I tend to like mine short AND low-cut, and Linz likes, uh, the opposite haha)…but we both fell hard for this one.

This dress is made from some sort of wonderfully soft and drapey corduroy. It drapes so well that even our short selves (we’re both basically around 5’2″) can pull off the volume.

And don’t worry — because of the fabulous drape, the dress still layers nicely under jackets.

OK, Voloshin — you guys have a winner. We LOVE this dress. (More on the rest of the line soon. It’s so freaking good.)
xo,
S & Linz
Ok, you ladies are too cute with your matching dresses. It’s a Hanna Andersson twirly dress for grownups. I love it.
Haha – Linz and I are cracking up in most of these shots because we’re literally going, “WHY ARE WE DRESSING AS TWINS? WHERE COULD WE EVEN BE GOING DRESSED LIKE TWINS??” We keep joking that we need to plan a double date and then show up in our twin dresses. (But I doubt the guys would even notice.)
Love everything about this ❤️
Lol, they totally ARE Hanna Anderson twirl dresses! Love it! ?
Love this twinning look. But fyi the link for the short teddy coat isn’t working.
Crap. It sure was NOT. Thanks for the catch – it’s fixed now, but in case you still need it, here: https://shopstyle.it/l/9uRO
Ah!!! Everything about this is so cute! Love the dress and your boots are amazing! So good, girls!!!
Sorry, I don’t find these dresses flattering at all. Both of your adorable figures are totally lost.
I love that Shana keeps wearing those vintage boots! They are AMAZING and I love that you haven’t replaced them with the newest thing. Every time I’m at a thrift shop I look for a similar pair and I’ve been scouring Poshmark too!
Awwww…love that you remember them!! I can’t ever get rid of these boots – I don’t think my coworker had any idea how much I would love them when she gifted them. I keep looking for something close (just for recommendations) and every once in a while Frye brings them back.
They’re so freaking good, even….40 years later? OMG.
