Remember when we were coffee chatting? Philly’s own La Colombe makes some of the finest. The founders are as solid as people get; scroll to the bottom of their page for a bit of their story. My own personal favorite bean and part of why I’d rather walk to their shop for ‘special coffee’ then brew my own is Corsica. Would it be crazy to subscribe to something I can walk and pick-up? Not sure. But wasteful; so I’ll keep walking. But if they aren’t in your walking range, those links are for you and you won’t regret them. I tried a whole bunch of other beans and they’ve got nothing on.
In other subscription news, AJ has aged into needing deodorant. I’m sure someday he’ll read back and love that I just shared that. (He won’t. He’s busy. And I’ll take my chances for the greater sharing good of all pre-teens.) This is timely, as S just posted her latest Native review. We tested smells ourselves, compared prices to other options, settled on this, and it seems to be working. He’s happy. So there’s that. He left for his dad’s with it though. So I guess I need to order a second subscription? #coparentingisawesome
And if there’s a concept that maybe we subscribe to this week, maybe this? Go Irish. OK, enough of all that. Back to HOME things I fell in love with all over again this week. And all the Home Decor on Sale too!
2/ Entryway Metal Hook Rail With Leather Folio Brown – Threshold: I love all the places we tuck things we need to keep away but find again! The hooks are also great for sunglasses. And the pouch serves just as well a kid iPad and other such device keeper.
3/ Wire Script Sculpture: Anyone else still tired from the switching of the clocks? I’ve been pretending that I’m falling asleep with the kids for their benefit. It’s not. It’s for my own. Night, night.
4/ Abel Oval Mirror: Was there ever a more able mirror than the Abel? I love this everywhere we work it in! It’s just gorgeous!
5/ Bronzeville 3 Light Pendant: Seeded Glass globes surround the filament bulbs, for a warm statement piece at a fraction of the price of a few others from which it might be inspired. And I have to say, I love that the globes surround the bulbs on this one. It’s a bit more practical than the bulbs in the globes, yet the same effect overall!
6/ Pujo Coat Rack: Great for tight, efficient, and modern spaces. These also help in bedrooms and bathrooms, and small halls for a bit of extra storage and organization. And they are great to look at.
7/ Dip-Dyed Stools: Always a favorite. Just ordered two more. No regrets ever. Perfect little addition everywhere.
8/ Winter + Summer Cotton Coverlet: Inspired by a treasured vintage weaving from the early 19th century; heirloom-quality, crafted from 100% yarn-dyed cotton. Graphic color contrast and geometric patterning. Love this most layered.
9/ Herman Magazine Stand: Always on the hunt for good looking magazine stands. This one stood out to me this week!
10/ Luxembourg Bar Trolley: Inspired by the outdoor furniture in the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris. Durable bar cart made entirely out of lightweight aluminum. There’s a removable top tray which is fun. AND…best of all…it comes in more great colors than I can count!
11/ Alexander Settee, Indigo Stripe: Maybe it’s the proportion of all the city homes, but something set me on a settee tear that I’m not through yet and I just love this one.
AND the Pillow!!!! Oh how I LOVE these Pillows so, so, so much!!! All from the same amazing vendor! Love them even more layered one upon the next, in multiple colorways!
