Casual Cool: Add This White Blazer To EVERYTHING

Friends. Hey there. I love a white blazer for freshening up all my looks for summer. This is no secret. And we’ve all been adoring this comfy knit notch collar white blazer. It’s SO soft, easy to wear and just a fresh update for this time of year. It’s great for work, travel, cool evenings, date night, brunch and more. We love this thing. In fact, we’ve been loving white blazers all spring — I loved how Scotti rocked a casual blazer here and I did a little casual workwear-inspired piece on blazers here. So I thought I’d style this one up a few ways to make it even easier to work into the wardrobe.

4 Ways To Nail Casual Cool With A White Blazer

White Blazer + a Graphic Tee & Black Jeans

This graphic tee and jeans and blazer combo is one of my very favorite looks. It’s one of my go-to choices for travel, and as you saw from the previous post, I just swap out a cami if I want it a little more dressy. A white jacket can be a little trickier to style in general, but sticking with a monochromatic look underneath seems to work. And you know I’m always a fan of black and white outfits.

White Blazer + a Black Jumpsuit

Sticking with the monochromatic game here, the white blazer takes this comfy jumpsuit to the next level. I’m loving the white sandals with it for a casual look. Swap them for the black wedges above for work. (Side note: This jumpsuit is super-easy to get on and off, too, when nature calls.)

White Blazer + Blue Jeans & Printed Cami

This is a fun summery look with my new favorite jeans. I’m following Julieta’s advice for breaking in some rigid denim 501’s and I’m loving them. If you haven’t checked out her spray bottle technique for breaking them in, it’s fabulous. You can size up in them, but only if you eventually want a boyfriend cut. These I’d like to become that favorite broken-in skinny pair I reach for all the time. She swears by hers. I’m loving how they look, too, and the 90’s nostalgia is strong with these for me. Pair a light printed cami (of course I chose leopard) with these lighter wash jeans, and you are kinda still on the monochromatic trend that works with this jacket.

White Blazer + Shorts & Wedges or Sandals

So…I think I’m liking this look. It’s not quite shorts season over here, and you’ve heard me be on the fence about shorts in general, but I’m just going for it. The longer first pair of cut-offs are more comfortable for all-day wear, but the shorter well-loved pair of mine (from the actual 90’s) I think are more flattering. It kinda just depends on where you’re wearing this. Again, I’d stick with a lighter tank or tee here, and I’m liking the mini black stripes on white. The navy tee in the shopping widget links to a cute white with black stripes option, btw.

Have you tried this jacket out yet? What is your favorite combo to pair it with? Do you love the look of the white jacket but want more of a moto style that is still summery? YES. This one is fabulous

Yep, I’m still counting the days until school is out over here, and we’re STILL in school. Omg. Haha. Are we the only ones?? Sheesh. The morning grind y’all, the morning grind.

We are headed to Mt. Hood this weekend though (school was supposed to end Friday but…thanks snow) to a gorgeous spot called Lost Lake for a little early-season camping in a yurt. I’ve never stayed in a yurt! Stoked. The lake has kayaks and paddle boats to rent, Pinky can get his fishing on and I can drink coffee by the campfire in the mornings…possibly my favorite thing in life to do. Hope y’all have a fab weekend, too! Until next time…

xo,

  1. I love your looks, Laura! I have this blazer and also love it. The polka dot lining looks cool and casual with sleeves rolled up. The only thing is the blazer is HOT. It works well for spring here in the Midwest, but is way too hot for summer here.

  2. I LOVE these looks ? I have a white blazer. I am definitely going to try some these looks and invest in some longer denim shorts. As always, thanks for the links

  3. So so good! I love these looks! That leopard print cami is ?! I think I’m needing a white blazer now! Thanks for the great suggestions!

  4. I’m working on breaking in a pair of Levi’s 501 skinny jeans too (100% cotton)…I’ve just worn them once but can tell they will be loved. It will just take some work to get them that way though… they are so rigid I had to roll out of my lounge chair today. Hahah.
