We’ve been scouring Amazon for hours, pulling together the best of their Cyber Monday deals. It’s a daunting task, for sure. We came across some… umm…rather interesting things (have you checked out our IG stories?) and, naturally, some pretty darn good finds in every category. (You can check out everything we’ve found this weekend in Black Friday shop and Cyber Monday guide.)
Amazon Fashion: Cyber Monday Sale Picks
In order to better communicate what the heck we were thinking…we came up with 6 categories of stuffs: 1. everyday basics we’d wear on the weekend, 2. an easy night out uniform, 3. the best plus-size pieces, 4. a vacation capsule wardrobe, 5. workout & loungewear, and…DUN DUN DUN…a category that can only be called 6. Intrigued Yet Hesitant.
You know what we’re talking about with that last category: those Amazon finds that *look* really cute, have great reviews, but…nobody has heard of the brand, shipping could take 3-4 weeks, and nobody you know has actually tried them. Buy at your own risk but…they’re really cute. Hmmmm.
1. Everyday Basics To Wear On The Weekend
These are the things we really do wear everyday. We’re talking jeans, sneaks, a cute sweater and a moto jacket. That [BLANKNYC] jacket is a team fav, for sure, and the tops are a mix of Amazon’s in-house brands (that we can personally stand behind), AG and a Tommy Hilfilger. (ps. I was going to include this dress because I could see Scotti rocking it buuuut…?? Thoughts??)
2. An Easy Night-Out Uniform
A cozy, teddy bear coat, WOW heels (these are Loeffler Randall) and jeans are the basis of 99% of my going-out outfits. Add in one of these 6 different tops and…done.
3. Plus-Size Fashion
Kat has seriously opened my eyes to the dearth of plus-size options, so I wanted to be sure to include some here. (Kat, hopefully you approve of my picks!!) The Betsey Johnson polka-dot, velvet dress is perfect for the holidays, while the wrap dress is perfect for desk-to-dinner.
4. Headed Somewhere Warm?
This next one is pretty much a vacation capsule wardrobe. Summer basics if you will. That suitcase, BTW, is one of my top picks. (I’m writing an article about suitcases blah blah more to come, but this one meets all of my requirements. Get the size medium.)
5. Workout + Lounge
This is the good stuff. The cozy, I don’t wanna leave my house stuff. The Champion sweats, in particular, are calling my name. I like how they’re not joggers, but not cropped wide-legs either.
6. Intrigued Yet Hesitant
I pulled Danielle (one of our token Millennials on the TME Philly team) in to help with this one. She found a ton of pieces that — through some feat of marketing — got us both verrrrry excited. We narrowed them down to the ones with the best reviews soooo… As Danielle casually remarked, whether or not they’ll come in the mail looking like their photos is…debatable. May the odds be ever in your favor.
Happy shopping… go get those deals!
