I put away all the faux fur, sherpa, chunky sweaters and boots that screamed WINTER. I mean…it is April, and finally starting to feel like spring. But one thing I’m not doing yet is storing this cashmere sweater. Do you wear cashmere year-round? Cashmere is thermostatic, and works in warm and cold temperatures. So it’s been perfect for this 50-70 degree weather here in NY. Last time I styled it like this, but today I’m going for a springier version.
As Shana said when I showed her these pics: white jeans, black top, leopard flats and a pop of color, DONE. Take a look!
Outfit Details
Sweater – I love how soft and flattering it is. The cropped length is perfect for my height and high-rise jeans. If there’s something I hate it’s dealing with extra fabric.
Jeans – Mine are the Hudson Ciara I got two years ago. But If I were to get a similar pair right now, I’d get the J brand Natasha that I have in burgundy. They are worth every penny. Some more white jeans below!
Shoes – These shoes are AMAZING! Soft, comfortable, and make any look sophisticated and lux. If you have narrow feet or are in between sizes, go down. I’m usually 5.5 or 6, and got the 5.5. I’m tempted to get the white version.
Sunglasses – On sale for $75. Got them last summer and I love them.
Bag (similar) – This leather crossbody is like four years old but it’s a staple in my closet. Check this Madewell one. Love it.

What was your favorite part of today? I asked. Todos los minutos mami! He said. That means ‘every minute of it’ in English. This day turned into a mother-son day by accident. We had this photoshoot, then I got him a new Lego set and ended up in the food court of the mall putting it together for three hours. We connected and remembered the days he was my only child. He loves his little brother, but sometimes he says “can you put him to sleep now? I don’t want him to destroy what I’m building”. I get you buddy! I have four younger siblings. We need our space and sometimes undivided attention. We’ll do this again soon. Promise.
Moms of two or more, can you relate? A little behind the scenes of these pics.
Chao, chao
