Some of our very favorite retailers are already sharing the love so we collectively decided to jump on J.Crew first. We all look to J.Crew for countless wardrobe staples — the most flattering swimwear, loungewear that also looks great for beach happy hours, stuff for the guys (because they deserve linen shirts too), and J.Crew’s summer clothes for kids are pretty epic (especially for boys).
Now through 5/31, you can take 25% off your purchase with code WEEKEND. So, in other words, now’s the time to refresh your summer wardrobe while knocking the final price down quite a bit (I speak from experience here). One quick note: we recommend you don’t wait on these pieces — the really good ones tend to sell out quickly and well, that’s just sad.

- Magic Rinse Crewneck: If you haven’t yet snapped up J.Crew’s magic rinse sweatshirt (and matching shorts) it’s my favorite sweatshirt ever. Wearing a size small in both.
- Irish Linen Shirt: Mike loves J.Crew’s linen button-down shirts. They’re one of the coolest options in summer’s heat, we machine wash them (hang to dry), and they’re available in a bunch of fits: Classic, Slim, Tall and Slim Untucked. He has the light blue and oatmeal (and wore them all over Italy in 2019), but I think this year I’m going to snap up the dark navy or ‘sea glass’. Also available in short sleeve or (oh geez) tie dye. Too much? Hmmm.

- I have had this Striped Cotton Poplin Shirtdress on my mind since I came across it a week or so ago…I really should just get it already, sheesh. I like how crisp and tailored it looks, but also assume I’d feel comfortable and happy to wear it every day. A casual tan strappy flat sandal would go well or!…a more poised style, like these…
- Skinny Strap Round-heel Sandals, in black patent leather. I have had a similar pair, but with a very skinny heel. It may be time to upgrade! Also, I think they’d be a tad more comfortable for day-to-day wear.
