While the Nordstrom Sale is great for killer investment pieces, we definitely shouldn’t miss out on shopping the more reasonably priced shoe finds, my friends.
My intern Nova and I rounded up a rad selection of sneakers, boots, loafers and more from great brands like Adidas, Sam Edelman, Teva and Converse…perfect for all those cute fall outfits. I let her describe what she loved about each choice and I added a few notes to some pairs that I own and love, with pics in them below, so look out for those. Without further ado…
01 | Dr. Scholl’s Sneakers: Perfect for colder weather and can be easily dressed up or down since they are so classic.
02 | Steve Madden Stacked Heel Sandals: These have a taller heel making them a tad more fun and fancy but they’re still able to be dressed up or down. You could pair these with some lighter-wash jeans for a put-together casual look, or try them with a dress if you’re feelin’ a bit fancier.
03 | Teva Ember Slip-ons: These shoes are super soft. Perfect for running errands or getting out of the house for a quick coffee run. (From Laura: I have and LOVE these!!)
04 | Sam Edelman Finn Chain Mule: These look much fancier than they actually are — a spectacular way to take any outfit from a 9…to a 10! (From Laura: These are one of my favorite Nordstrom Sale finds so far! SO rad with distressed denim and so comfy. Have already worn them a bunch! TTS.)
05 | Franco Sarto Cream-Colored Platform Loafers: I love these shoes so much. So easy to wear yet stylish at the same time — they’d make a great staple in anyone’s closet. Laura featured them in her chunky platform loafer try-on last winter.
06 | Mustard Converse Gore-Tex Chuck Taylors: I instantly fell for the color of these — such a unique shoe to make you stand out this fall. Try them with a trench coat and some gold accessories.
07 | Sofft Britton Zip High Top: These are water-resistant, which I thought was amazing heading into the colder and wetter seasons. The green is definitely a more fall/winter color and super-adorable.
08 | Steve Madden Cedar Chain Booties: These have an awesome shape and the chain adds some flair. They would look amazing with a leather piece (a chic jacket, maybe?).
09 | Adidas Swift Run Sneakers **sustainable pick**: Adidas sneakers are always a must-have, so these were an immediate yes for me. They would go well with most things but also have a subtle ivory cheetah print making them a little more fun. (From Laura: Have and love these in a different cheetah print, too. SO good, so comfy. I bought them for Disney World this fall… I wound up sizing down a 1/2)
10 | Caslon Miller Water Resistant Chelsea: These were one of the first to catch my eye — I loved them instantly. They scream ‘fall’ to me, with their color scheme and the Chelsea style, too. They can go with basically anything, but I would personally wear them with a fun jacket and some dark wash denim bottoms.
The Cute Under $100 Shoes I Own
Steve Madden Finn Chain Mules
Have and adore. You may have seen in my 10 Killer Fall Outfits post and my 5 Great Fall Outfits Featuring Bag & Shoe Combos I Love From The NSale article. So rad and cute, and chic and easy to jazz up a tee and jeans. TTS and comfy with some cushion in the insole.
Adidas Swift Run Sneakers
Just got the Adidas Swift Run in recently and am in love love. I resisted so long until they came out with these cheetah print options, and I couldn’t resist, obvs. The ivory pair in the sale are a little more subtle than mine and probably more versatile. I’ve linked those, too (sizes are going quickly.) They also come in black with white stripes, and if you’re looking for solid white, the Adidas PureBoost are also in the sale!
Teva Ember Slip-Ons
Wore these ALL fall and winter. They are so great and comfy and kinda OG UGG vibes without the puffy boot look. Teva is trying to push it with these sherpa-lined sandals in the sale, too, that I kinda hate and kinda love. Haha. What do y’all think?
