When I look in my closet (or more accurately my bathroom floor) and calculate which pairs of jeans are truly my most-worn, there’s no question MOTHER denim is the winner. For years this has been the case. I recognize, though, that MOTHER denim is stupidly expensive (ugh!), so I’m always beyond thrilled when I find them on sale.

These Jeans Are Perfect For: If you are on the shorter side, and you’ve been struggling to find slouchy jeans that work. These are the first pair of slouchy jeans I’ve tried (after trying what seems like a bazillion) that I didn’t have to alter and don’t completely overwhelm my frame. I’ve worn them almost daily since they arrived. Relaxed feel and look, but I wore them dressed up the other night with a silk blouse and high-heeled boots and they worked well for date night, too. Love the versatility, love the fit, love the look!

Sizing Notes: Size down. I typically wear a 28 or even a 29 in MOTHER denim (5’2, Pear Shaped, 135 lbs), and I’m wearing a 27 here. They do look cute cropped as well, so if you’re a bit taller than me, I wouldn’t necessarily shy away from these. These are shown in original form — didn’t cut or hem this pair.

These Jeans Are Perfect For: That everyday easy-going, casual look, but more form-fitting than the Ditchers. One of my most-worn jeans. Not as flared as the Hustlers, but not as straight-leg as the Tomcats or Ditchers.

These Jeans Are Perfect For: Anyone who loves a comfy stretchy classic flare jeans (and isn’t super tall). These would work as a nice cropped flare option for you tall ladies (I’ve hacked off another pair for cropped look). I wear my Weekenders casual with a tee and sneaks, as well as dressed up with heels and a fancy top. MOTHER The Weekender flares and clogs are my go-to “fancy jeans outfit”. Comfortable mid rise.

Sizing Notes: TTS. Wearing a 27 in photos (they’re nice and stretchy), but at 135lbs (5’2) right now, I prefer the fit of the 28s. I hacked these off a bit, but not as much as many of my flares.
The Shoes I Wear With MOTHER Weekenders: Sneakers, low heels, sandals, flip flops, booties…pretty much EVERYTHING year-round. I have them hacked off JUST short enough to wear with sneakers but long enough to wear with a low heel.

These Jeans Are Perfect For: Someone searching for a comfortable pair of straight-leg jeans that look “borrowed from the boys” as MOTHER describes them. I have a few different washes of these, and they all get worn…mostly with casual tees, sweaters and sneaks.

Sizing Notes: Size up or even consider sizing up 2 sizes if you like your straight-leg jeans on the slouchier side. My preference at my current 135-ish lbs (5’2) is a size 29 or 30 (even though I wear a 28 in other styles).
