Maybe it’s all the influence from TikTok, or maybe it’s my genuine love for unique pieces, or maybe its just because I am a label-loving babe… But as of late, I’m finding that designer fashion and luxury goods are totally having their moment.
It’s not just me who seems to be in a love affair with designer goods; I’m finding many people sharing new designer purchases and creating holiday wish lists with designer pieces on them.
I think there’s something so special about designer pieces. They’re typically one of a kind, ultra-high quality, and just like investments, they actually tend to gain value over time. Take a peak at the RealReal, and you’ll find thousands of designer pieces that are now worth more than their initial cost.
Personally, I’m the kind of gal who buys designer pieces that I know I will use day after day, and my priority is to select pieces that I know will ultimately have a great cost-per-wear value.

1. Marina Rinaldi Pianeta Puffer Jacket
Nordstrom | Bloomingdales | Neiman Marcus
Marina Rinaldi is a high-end designer who creates some absolutely stunning pieces for straight- and plus-size babes. The winter collection that just dropped is simply stunning, and I’m so in love with the color of the Pianeta Puffer.
2. NAADAM Cashmere Hoodie & Joggers
I personally can’t wear cashmere, but most people would consider it to be one of the most luxe materials to wear. And when it comes to cashmere, NAADAM is a beloved brand by the TME team! The recycled-cashmere joggers and hoodie come in gorgeous colors, and make the perfect holiday gift for the person in your life who loves ultra-plush and luxurious lounge sets.
3. Karen Mabon Pajamas
Karen Mabon | Nordstrom | ShopBop
If you like to sleep in luxury, then look no further than Karen Mabon. The British company makes some of the most beautiful silky sleep sets, and this set in particular is 100% on my wish list.
4. Tom Ford Coffee-Table Book
Every year for Christmas, I ask for a book. I love books and absolutely adore how coffee-table books elevate any space. All of my friends have the famous Tom Ford book on display in their houses, and I think it makes an excellent holiday or housewarming gift.
5. Gucci Diana Tote
I could go on and on about how much I love the Gucci Diana handle bag, and in fact I did when I did an entire deep dive on why I love this iconic bag so much. The Diana tote is a part of Gucci’s heritage collection and comes in three sizes. This bag is an absolute showstopper, yet it’s also timeless and such a great addition to any designer lover’s bag collection.
6. Tom Ford F—king Fabulous Candle
Just in case you were wondering, I 100% want this Tom Ford candle in my house. The notes of the candle — sage, lavender, bitter almond, vanilla and leather — make for a sensual and seductive scent. I mean really who doesn’t want to feel f—king fabulous?!
7. Dior Lip Glow Oil
This Dior lip oil might be the most-talked-about lip product of the moment. It went hella viral all over TikTok, and it certainly would be a great designer gift to give. Especially since it’s under $40 and totally worth the splurge!
8. Balmain Hair Couture Overnight Serum
This Balmain overnight hair serum is making serious waves in the beauty industry and recently won the 2022 Allure Best of Beauty Award. It’s ultra-luxe, the packaging is beautiful, and it’s said to work wonders on all hair types. This would be a great splurge-worthy gift for the hair fanatic in your life.
9. Jacquemus Scarf
Most people know Jacquemus for its iconic bags, and as a babe who owns two of its bags, I can attest that the brand is seriously good. The quality, design and aesthetic of anything from Jacquemus is 10 out of 10. What I love about the Jacquemus wool logo scarf is that it’s a more cost-friendly price point when it comes to designer goods, and it’s available in the ever-so-popular Barbiecore pink as well as black.
10. Rimowa Luggage
I first discovered Rimowa luggage when I was in LA, shopping on Rodeo Drive with one of my besties. Initially, I was skeptical, but after hearing him rave about how much he loves his Rimowa luggage, and getting to test the quality out in person totally sold me. This luggage is seriously high quality and just recently became apart of the LVMH luxury goods family.
Whether you’re a person who loves luxury goods or not, I hope this list has sparked some ideas for great gifts to purchase for the people in your life. I know I would be over the moon to receive a coffee-table book, and you certainly can’t go wrong with a great lip oil, either. Wishing you all a happy holiday season!

Oh, hey, Pinners! This one’s for you…

What designer belt would you suggest? Gucci? YSL? Thank you!
I personally am not the biggest belt gal, mainly because I have a hard time finding belts that fit me let alone designer. But if I had to recommend one I would the Gucci Marmont wide belt to wear as a waist cinching belt over dresses: https://shopstyle.it/l/bNDUi
I can personally attest to the amazing Tom Ford F’ing Fabulous candle. I received it as gift and it’s amazing.
The Rimowa suitcase is worth it. Mine’s been to Europe, Australia, and Central America, I’ve been forced to check it by Hawaiian airlines (it fit their size but not their weight parameters, apparently, check in advance!) so it’s taken a beating with less-than-gentle luggage handlers but it’s held up. It keeps everything inside safe, secure, and dry (like when it was left on the dock in the rain while waiting to board a cruise to Alaska). To be honest my kids both have Away suitcases and they’ve held up very well too, but I love my Rimowa.
Such good insight! Now you’ve got me wanting to purchase both so that I can do a comparison!
