It’s beginning to look a lot like…the 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
For me, the #NSale is my absolute favorite sale of the year, and I’ve been shopping it for six years now. Boy does time fly by when you are having fun!
It’s currently the wee hours of the morning and I feel like a kid waiting to see Santa, I am giddy, and I just can’t wait to find all the amazing new toys under the tree that is the Anniversary Sale! The preview has been a total game-changer for how we can now shop the sale. I love being able to create categorized wish lists and they are beyond helpful with keeping an eye on what will be available when it’s my time to shop.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 Plus-Size Picks With Cool Colors & Ocean Vibes
This year I am so excited for all things in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. From vibrant colors, to everyday staples, to all the clean beauty a girl could ask for. The sale is seriously beyond good! I am elated that my prediction of Good American being in the sale was right, and I can’t wait to get my hands on this jumpsuit. I also proclaimed that the P448 Thea platform sneakers are my all-time favorite, and I think it may be time to snag a second pair. I also am over the moon that these Cult Gaia heels are in the sale! I have been wanting a pair forever and now is the time to get them!
Once I put together my preview wish list for the #NSale, all I could see with those cool colors and neutrals was a bit o’ nature…ocean vibes, if you will. And below my cute little capsule, you’ll find my pieces from sales past, and finally my top picks by category and then by brand. Let’s dive in…

1. Nike Indy Longline Sports Bra
I am in love with all things faux leather right now, and it’s clear that she is totally having her moment too! From faux leather joggers, to tops, to basically anything you can think of, there is so much faux leather trending right now… and this faux leather workout bra is 100% my vibe! I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
2. Nike One Faux Leather Mid Rise 7/8 Leggings
These faux leather leggings complete the set to the bra I just mentioned. Fingers crossed that they fit like a glove, and that they are comfortable and breathable for working out! I am beyond excited to try this set!
3. FRAME Shoulder Detail Half-Zip Sweatshirt
I know, I know, FRAME is not a plus-size brand… But when I tried out some of their tops last year, they did fit me well. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this gorgeous half-zip will fit me! I am in love with the shoulder detailing and the light moss color.
4. Free People Swim Too Deep Turtle Neck
Free People makes my all-time favorite sweaters! Since their brand tends to run very large, I find that their size L and XL tops and sweaters work perfectly for my plus-size body. For reference, I wear a 2X in tops that have no stretch and aren’t oversized. This Free People deep turtleneck is a newbie design for FP and it is stunning. It comes in a wide variety of colors, but my color palette this season is all things ocean vibes, which is why I am so drawn to this sea green color.
5. UGG Genuine Shearling Slipper
I am in desperate need of a new pair of UGG slippers…I have been rocking the OG UGG slippers for four years now, and it is 100% time to replace them. The current pair of UGG Slippers in the #NSale are an elevated version of the original design. I love the slight platform and this color is beyond good… Oh and p.s. they are available in many other colors too!
6. Barbour Ashover Hooded Raincoat
The raincoat I have been rocking is an oldie that I bought back in college, and it’s definitely time to upgrade. I love the quality of Barbour jackets and the Ashover hooded raincoat is sleek and in the color of my dreams. It’s going to go so well with all the neutrals I wear!
7. AllSaints Rita Oversize Off-the-Shoulder Long Sleeve T-Shirt
Tie-dye is certainly making its way out of the fashion industry, and this AllSaints long sleeve is the perfect piece for that hint of a tie-dye moment we all love. It’s both structural and oversized at the same time, and the olive green paired with the white detailing is so well done. This is the kind of tie-dye piece that will stand the test of time!
8. Levi’s Ribcage High-Waist Ankle Straight Leg Jeans
This is the first year that anything from the Levi’s plus-size collection has been featured in the #NSale! I wish there were more pieces from their plus-size collection available in the sale, but I will take what I can get. I have yet to find a pair of Ribcage Levi’s jeans that work for me, but I’m hopeful that these will be a winner.
9. Nike Sportswear Fleece Sweatpants
I am a Nike fan through and through, and I already own these Nike sweats in both the coconut cream color featured above and in black! They are so well-designed and cozy for fall and winter!
10. BP Printblock Plaid Button-Up Shirt
Of everything on my wish list, this BP printblock plaid button-up is definitely the most outside of my comfort zone. I don’t typically wear plaid, but something about this version, in particular, is speaking to me. I am ordering it in the largest size possible for an extra oversized look.
11. Good American Long Sleeve Polo Shirt
If I had to pick one brand that I would say is my all-time favorite for plus-size gals like myself, it would be Good American. I find that I turn to their jeans, tops and swimsuits more than any other brand because the quality and the fit are perfection. This GA long sleeve polo looks ultra-soft and lightweight at the same time. I have a feeling it will be one of my most worn pieces.
12. Good American Fit For Success Belted Denim Jumpsuit
I have the hardest time finding jumpsuits that fit me, and I attribute this directly to all the extra loving I carry in my backside. I am hoping that this Good American jumpsuit will fit because I think she is super sexy!
13. Halogen Double Breasted Wool Blend Coat
I have been dreaming of a coat like this one for years! And I am so excited to see that Halogen finally has one that’s in the sale too! Oh, and you all already can probably guess I am in love with the color too!
14. SPANX Booty Boost Active Print 7/8 Leggings
I’ve never had much luck with Spanx leggings, but I am obsessed with this pattern. Fingers crossed that this will fit!
15. Cult Gaia Meta Slide Sandal
OMG, Cult Gaia is in the sale!!! I am absolutely in love with these heels and have had them on my list of things to buy for so long! I love everything about the unique heel and I’m eyeing this pair, too!
16. Aerosoles Lima Slide Sandal
I LOVE everything about these slide sandals. They are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for summer and fall. I am hoping these will work with the Levi’s Ribcage jeans I mentioned.
17. Steve Madden Hayle Platform Chelsea Boot
These Steve Madden Chelsea boots give me all the vibes of Prada at a fraction of the price. I love the light tan color and lug sole, and can’t wait to get these on my hands!
A Few Things I Have (+ LOVE) In The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
1. Nike Sportswear Fleece Sweatpants
Ask anyone and they would say that my style is mostly elevated athleisure wear. I love all things Nike, and these sweats along with the Nike Palazzos are one of my most worn pieces in my closet. I actually own them in several colors, and I can’t recommend them enough. They are cozy and so easy to dress up or down!
2. P448 Thea Sneakers
If you are an avid TME IG follower, then you might have heard me proclaim my love for these sneakers. If there were only one pair of shoes that I could wear for the rest of my life, it would be the P448 Thea Sneakers. They are beyond comfortable, the platform heel is so on-trend, and they are versatile for any season. I was excited to see that there are several pairs of P448 Thea Sneakers in the sale, and I am especially crushing on this pair.
3. Vince Camuto High Rise Leggings

Vince Camuto high-rise leggings are my favorite leggings of ALL-TIME! I am quite certain they’re the most-worn piece in my entire wardrobe, and I can’t live without them. They have the perfect amount of compression, and the thick waistband holds everything in while also accentuating my curves. In this year’s Anniversary Sale, I consider them a closet must-have! 4. Nécessaire Body Wash & Lotion
From the moment I tried Nécessaire, I instantly fell in love. My two top picks from the entire brand are the Nécessaire Body Wash & Lotion, and I was stoked to see that they come as a set for the sale. I have gone through several bottles of each and let me tell you all — they are so good! The scent of the body wash gives me all the relaxing spa vibes, and I love that the lotion is scentless and ultra-hydrating. These are a 10 out of 10, definitely recommend, and my top clean beauty pick for this year’s #NSale!
