I had a lot of fun styling Eileen Fisher’s Hemp & Organic Cotton Tapered Ankle Pants (here’s another similar pair on sale at Saks) during the NSale, and while not all of my exact pieces are still stocked, maybe you snagged some of these items during the sale.
If not, these looks are easily repeatable with pieces you probably have in your own closet (i.e., those blazers maybe you haven’t known how to wear for a couple of years).
Honestly, I wouldn’t usually be drawn to these EF pants style-wise, and I haven’t tried anything else from this brand…but people rave about Eileen Fisher, so it got me curious. I put my own edgy/sporty twist on the outfits, and it turns out that these Eileen Fisher pull-on pants are my new faves (especially while jeans and are I still on-again, off-again.)
And while I’m a new fan of Eileen Fisher pants in general now, you could easily swap in other similar styles. I’ve rounded up similar EF pairs and a few more pull-on styles to choose from too.
6 Fall Outfits Ft. Eileen Fisher Pull-On Pants (With My Own Sporty Twist)
These pics are part of the stuff I had to cut from my Nordstrom sale article last month due to sellouts, but the styling combos couldn’t be wasted, and I think they’ll be fun to try as we ease into fall! Lots of these work for now and later, since I’ve layered some tees in the mix, and the blazers can be popped on for chilly offices or restaurants.
For me and my shorter torso, a cropped tee works so great here! If you’re longer torso’d, or if you just want a little more coverage, this Everlane scoop-neck tee could work for you. I would still tuck it to get a similar vibe though.
1. My Fave Sporty Vibe: A Cropped Tee + Nike Sneakers
I will now keep trying more from Eileen Fisher because these tapered ankle pants actually fit well, and I really struggle with pull-on styles and rises.
I’m 5’4″ and do have these taped under here (someday soon hopefully I’ll remember to hem them!). So while it says ankle, that’s more for taller folx. I’m really digging these trouser-like pants with my Nike Court Vision Altas for the sporty touch I adore.
2. For Travel Or A Casual Office Look: A Knit Blazer
If you’re gonna splurge on one blazer, let it be this one. It’s the Fairfield Stripe Riding Blazer from Theory, and it’s knit. And lovely. And has a thin subtle pinstripe that makes it even better. I’ve also rounded up some additional options below, at varying price points.
The outfit below shows another way to wear it too, so keep scrollin’…
3. Make It Chic: Pointed-Toe Boots + Matching Crossbody Bag
I think I’ll be repeating this combination with any of my pull-on pants as a way to take them up a notch…these Franco Sarto pointed-toe boots have that leg-lengthening effect and make the comfy Eileen Fisher pants feel edgier and dressier. And even though that Theory blazer is a soft knit, the structure of a blazer also adds that tailored look, elevating the elastic-waist pants, haha. YAS.
4. Now Make It Fall: A Blazer In A Deeper Color
This green Veronica Beard blazer is such a gorgeous shade, but I think any deeper fall color would work great as well. I opted for the P448 sneakers here, but the ivory boots I have on above would take this to a whole new level too.
5. Add Some Texture: A Fancy Jacket
Chanel vibes, anyone? I love the texture of the Eileen Fisher pants mixed with the bold houndstooth print of the L’Agence blazer. It’s a fun combo and the cropped tee and pull-on style pants keep it from feeling too preppy. Ooh, and a similar jacket is on sale at Net-A-Porter right now. And you could go even more Chanel-esque with this under-$150 jacket at Anthro. Love.
6. For A Classic Everyday Outfit: A Graphic Tee + Elevated Sneaks
If I can’t wear a graphic tee with something, I don’t need it. This is an everyday outfit I’ll be wearing on repeat. I rounded up a few fun graphic tee options below since mine is sold out. Any fun bright color you love, or a white or black tee you already have, would work!
I mentioned recently that I didn’t have a go-to look anymore…but maybe I do! And it definitely includes some comfy pull-on pants, haha!
