Cozy & comfy…that’s on the brain right now, of course. And I’m always drawn to a sporty-vibe. Especially in spring. Nordstrom’s surprise sale doesn’t disappoint and offers some favorite sneakers, jeans and cute finds for upcoming warmer temps. Many of my longtime favorites are included (and I even have pictures!) so you’ll probably recognize plenty of things below…
But first, let’s start off with a warm favorite you can wear right now (it’s still chilly here in Portland).

1. My Favorite (Seriously Cozy) Sweatshirt
I’ve had this for *I think* close to two years now and I LOVE it so much. It’s the coziest thing, ever. It’s still available in gray and black… hooray!

2. This Fabulous Blazer We Now ALL Love
Stay tuned for more styling ideas from the team, but this blazer is great. I tried it during the NSale two summers ago and adore it. I am so glad it’s still stocked! It’s stretchy, makes any outfit fresh & polished, and comes in an array of amazing colors.

3. This Cute Skirt
The thing I loved most from my recent trip to Madewell…so glad to see it on sale here! And this tee is also part of the sale. I wound up getting it in black. It’s so soft and more reasonably priced than some of my other go-to tees.
4. A Seriously Great Lightwash Jean
These are even better than they look in photos. I love the wash on these and MOTHER denim is just so flattering, if you haven’t tried it. It’s even better when it’s on sale. Size up in their jeans, I’m wearing a 28 here. These are fairly cropped. I’m 5’4″ and would probably wear them more with my high-tops and taller boots for that perfect shoe-to-jean-hem ratio. (The wrinkles are bothering me here, but they were shipped all rolled up into a smaller package… they are a super-soft denim!) I thought I had a pic from behind of the behind but I don’t, but trust me MOTHER denim are best for the rear view!
5. My Only Cardigan In Rotation Right Now
I haven’t been excited about any cardigans for a long time now. This one I ordered recently and put on and was pleasantly surprised! I like the shrunken fit (and I sized down) but the boxy cut. It’s a fresh combo that I think Madewell actually got right!

6. Favorite Lipstick Color
Love this really matte lipstick. It’s such a great earthy red. It’s a little bit bold, but so easy to wear. I typically put a little bit of gloss over it in this Aragon shade from Nars.
