You all already know that my love for skirts is at an all-time high right now. As of late, my current fav is the Slim Corduroy Velvet Mini Skirt from Anthropologie. This is the first-ever corduroy skirt I have owned. In fact, it’s the first time I have ever owned any corduroy for that matter. I’ve always loved this trend but never found any options that came in plus size or actually looked good on me.
What I love about this skirt is that it has some stretch, which makes it perfect for the holidays when you may or may not need a little extra give in your clothes to accommodate the extra cookies that are readily available. I also think the vertical ribbed detailing adds an additional element to the overall look, and the jewel-toned color is a great winter staple.

I threw this black Levi’s jean jacket on last minute, and love how it completely changed the look of my outfit. When I tried this on at Anthro, I knew that I was in love and bought it in an XL. This now looks like a great option for a wintery girls’ brunch!
