I have been moving away from bras with underwire for a few years now. Wireless bras are just way more comfortable and personally, I’ve found they allow for better circulation (which seems like a good move).

Found: Comfy Wireless Bras That Are Supportive AND Affordable

Finding comfy bras hasn’t been too tough, but finding supportive wireless bras has been tricky. And while I can’t speak for all bra sizes, I can speak for my smaller band, larger cup-size folx and say that I think I found the unicorn bras. (Uh, side note: Busy Philipps thinks so and looks adorable here — I love her.) These Warner’s bras at Amazon are actually comfy, stay in place, AND look good under clothing while also giving the gals a little lift (without pushing them up, because I am over that moment.)

My 3 New Comfy Wireless Bras With Support

I was able to try out the Easy Does It No Bulge Wire-Free Bra, the No Side Effects Wire-Free Backsmoothing Contour Bra and the Cloud 9 Wire-Free Contour Bra all from Warner’s, all wireless and all winners. They are now forefront in my lingerie drawer because they’re all I’ve been grabbing for the last week. They also come in at a great price point…all under $45 and most of them on sale right now, too!

How pretty is this bra? So many comfort styles lack…well, style. This one feels so pretty but is also comfy and looks great under tees. It comes in a lovely array of colors and neutrals, too.

Cloud 9 Wire-Free Contour Bra

Fit Notes: These are offered in sizes 32A – 40C and the 34C fit me great (I’m typically a 32DD/34D in other brands.) All three of these bras include very lightly padded lining (don’t worry, not push-up style, just the kind that shows smoothly under clothing) and the traditional hook and eye back closure with three size options. With other comfort bras, I have to pull them over my head and I so appreciate that I don’t with these. But the back closures are still super soft to wear.

Warner’s Easy Does It No Bulge Wire-Free Bra

The Easy Does It No Bulge Wire-Free bra is also comfy and a little sportier looking. The higher sides prevent that bulging effect that nobody has time for, amiright? Our ligaments there stretch with age, nursing, etc., and I know how frustrating it is for that extra bit to get squished at our underarms. I was so impressed how this held it all in. This one is currently on sale, too!

Fit Notes: XS – XXL sizes offered in this one. The stretchy mesh fabric is so soft and comfy. I’m wearing a Medium here and it covers and fits well. This provides a little bit more full coverage bra than the first option.

Warner’s No Side Effects Wire-Free Bra

This No Side Effects Wire-Free Backsmoothing Contour Bra might be my favorite. That crossover panel at the sides is brilliant. It’s, you guessed it, super comfortable too and lays nicely under tees. The fabric is the silkiest of the three, and I love that the straps are wider where they attach to the cups in front and back.

Fit Notes: This style comes in size range S – 2X. I’m typically a 32DD/34D and the Medium fits great. I don’t know what magic is included in this construction, but I’ve worn it all day for two days straight and the straps stayed up, the band was comfy, and as I said, it lays really nicely under thinner fabrics like jersey knit.

I would not kid you when it comes to comfy bras, y’all. These are just really good! I hope if you’ve also been looking for soft bras that provide some support that this has been helpful! Until next time…

  1. I looked at the reviews of the bras and was full on howling at this one: “It’s like there are angels with silk hands holding my breasts up on cloud pillows while feeding me cotton candy and telling me I’m pretty.”

    • Hahaha omg I missed that. THANK YOU for finding it and sharing it with us all. This is definitely the content I needed right now. haha.

  2. I can’t tell from the pictures, do you get a uniboob situation? Or do the girls look separate like a regular underwire?

    • No uniboob! Definitely more definition like an underwire bra than a sports bra, especially with the Cloud 9 and No Side Effects styles

  3. Am so with you on this one – I think once you’ve experienced a wire-free maternity/nursing bra it is SO HARD to go back. Thanks for this post, am going to bookmark these bras to try next!

    • YES I think you’re right! That is it! The nursing tanks move you into this world of no-wire for sure. I hope you love them, too, if you try them out!

  4. I needed this. My boobs are non-existent after breastfeeding and I just won’t do wires. The only advantage of no boobs… is no wires. This post is amazing and I bought several. Thank you! From mother tomcats to the mundane I love your recs!

    • Ah I’m so glad you found it helpful, yay! Thank you so much, Annie! Love giving these recs to help peeps out!

  5. I was so excited to try these… ordered the No Side Effects and the Easy Does it No Bulge… I really wanted to love them, but they were a miss for me. Maybe I’m still stuck on the support from an underwire, but these both let me (and the girls!) down, if you know what I mean! 😉

    • Ah darn I know bras are such an individual thing! I haven’t tried their underwire bras, but they do offer some! I get that sometimes we need that extra support.
