You know that feeling of getting home after a long day and itching to take off your bra?
I actually don’t like that feeling. I’m someone who wears a bra far more often than going without one. I’m more comfortable with my boobs being supported than “let loose”, which is why the bras I wear are very, very important. The best compliment I can give a bra is that it’s so good, I never think about it, not even when I’m kicking my feet up on the couch at the end of the day. Warners is making that bra. My absolute favorite is their Cloud 9 Smooth Comfort Bra, but this company has been making bras for over 140 years — so they’ve perfected the game in more styles than one.

The Cloud 9 Smooth Comfort bra by Warners is milky soft. We’re talking heavy whipping cream status. So buttery soft, that you will absolutely be tempted to throw out every other bra you own. It’s the perfect t-shirt bra, or just everyday bra, really. The straps are smooth and flat, and the fabric is light and breathable.
Unlike similar bras that require you to pull them over your head, this Cloud 9 bra has a clasp back that I massively prefer, as I typically do my hair and makeup before getting dressed (usually still in my towel or a robe). The last thing I want to do is pull a bra on over my head while having to avoid smearing my makeup all over it (ah, it actually makes me cringe just thinking about doing it). You don’t have to stretch anything out; it’s so good and easy.
When I realized this bra provided that perfect softness and I didn’t have to pull it over my head, it immediately became the most comfortable and practical one I own, hands down.
Fit Notes: I love when a bra is broken down into simple sizing, because that usually means it’s a forgiving style rather than a strict cup size you have to fill. I’m wearing a medium, so I consider this totally TTS.

If you’re looking for that same comfort level, but prefer an adjustable strap on your shoulders, I highly recommend the Cloud 9 Wire-Free Contour Bra. It’s still a part of Warners Cloud 9 collection, and is super-soft and doesn’t dig into you anywhere, but with the slightest bit more padding to help lift the ladies.
I love that these are no frills, no fuss. The bras that come with bells and whistles and trinkets sometimes try to make you believe you’ll be more confident with all the extra cutouts or additions, but I’m more confident when I’m comfortable.

I’ve definitely always had that effect when wearing bras, and to have a company go the next step and realize some extra, strategically placed fabric would be far more flattering is just so thoughtful.

Fit Notes: Wearing a 36C. I don’t have very full boobs, especially on top (I’d like to thank breastfeeding, except they’ve always been a bit, uhm, deflated), so full coverage isn’t always the best fit for me and can create gaping on top; sometimes sizing down in cup size can help! Oh no, I apologize for that!! Here’s the sizing info I was referencing:
XS: A&B cups with 30-32 band
S: 34-36A, 34B
M: 36B, 34-36C, 34D
L: 38-40B, 38C, 36-38D
XL: 42B, 40-42C, 40D
2X: 44-46B, 44-46C
I’m currently a 36C and this sizing chart worked perfectly, the medium was just my fit.
If only they made bras in smaller sizes! I loved them when I was pregnant but was very sad to see they don’t fit my normal size.
Pregnancy was the only time I could buy bras in any and every store. I am normally a 30D, who can sometimes get away with a 32C. When I was pregnant, my rib cage widened to let me wear a standard 34C. We always hear how many women wear the wrong size bra, and usually it’s too large a band and too small a cup, unfortunately it can be hard to find smaller band sizes with larger cups outside specialty stores. And often these bras are less affordable. Unfortunately, you won’t find Wacoal bras on a Walmart budget.
I tried the Cloud 9 Smooth Comfort and I love it! One of the best wire free options I have found. Thanks for the recommendations!
